Spanish Sound = FKN Awesome!

I mixed a single for up-and-coming Australian band Velshur. The band is currently on tour in Europe, and the single, “Spanish Sound,” will also be included on the Indie Anthems Compilation at Coachella. Keep a close eye out for these guys, because they are definitely going places. I’m looking forward to mixing the rest of their EP when they return home from their tour.

“The single, “Spanish Sound” is the lead single taken from their debut 4 track EP which is due to be released sometime in June. The track starts out with a cool funky bass-line that builds into a fine guitar melody, supported by tight percussion. Structurally the song is pretty easy to follow, but the slight incline in pace keeps you on your toes. The pop-rock elements soon start to work their way in and it is clear that Velshur know how to handle a hook-focused chorus. Ultimately this track is equipped with solid instrumentation and production, and is a vibrant, summer anthem that will be sure to get you moving”
